The Chapter Board runs the administrative side of
the local IFGS, determining chapter policy and overseeing
chapter committees. The Board meets to conduct business
monthly. Contact the President to request information
on meeting times and locations.

Sanctioning
Committee
Contact: Kaaren Davis
The Sanctioning Committee provides feedback to Game
Designers regarding their games. All games run in conjunction
with the IFGS must be sanctioned in order to have the
results of those games entered into the Registry and
for participants to be covered by the IFGS's insurance
policy.

Archivist

The Archivist collects, organizes, and disseminates
information (mostly historical) about the IFGS in general
and the D/B chapter in particular, including maintaining
a collection of newsletters, game designs, fliers,
copies of various rule book editions, board meeting
minutes, lore, etc.

Awards

The Awards committee gathers game ratings and produces
awards given annually at the Awards Banquet.

Elections

The Elections chair runs the annual elections process,
producing and mailing the ballots, and counting them
when they arrive.

The Events committee coordinates social events and
non-game activities.

The Melee is the newsletter of the D/B Chapter.

PR

To recruit new
members, work to retain and involve and support existing members,
provide encouragement to all members to participate in anything
within IFGS they find fulfilling: providing avenues of encouragement,
mentoring and support and resources to better help them create and
fulfill their IFGS dreams.

Quartermaster

The Quartermaster maintains the chapter props locker
and coordinates the creation of game props.

Registry

Appling
The Registry maintains in-game records for your characters,
including participation, experience points, gold, and
magic/treasure items. The Registry also collects game
ratings for end-of-year awards.

Safety

The Chapter Safety Officer approves individuals who
wish to be safety officers for games. He/She also maintains
the chapter safety equipment (radios, safety kits,
etc.).

Treasury

The Treasurer maintains chapter financial records,
collects game fees, and sells merchandise.
